Stan, as he was affectionately called, was born April 5 1958, to the late Willie W. Benson, Sr. and the late Bernice Booker Benson in Buffalo, NY. Stan spent his early childhood years in Western NY Children Psychiatric Center. He returned home as a teen and was homeschooling. Stan was a quick learner and passionate about everything he did.
